Success for Savills at Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice

Savills and SWRnewstar have won six Green Apple Environment Awards presented at the Houses of Parliament on November 25th

 

The Green Apple Awards were set up to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world and 2019 marks the 25th anniversary. Savills performed exceptionally well this year in minimising environmental impact. The projects were recognised for improved recycling performance, engagement with onsite teams and demonstrating innovation in resource management:

 

Bronze: New Square Shopping Centre

Bronze: Eden Shopping Centre 

Silver: The Harvey Centre

Gold: 111 Buckingham Palace Road

Gold: Trinity Walk Shopping Centre

Gold: London Bridge City

 

Congratulations to all of the winners at this year’s Green Apple Awards: it was a fantastic event celebrating the progress made by a broad cross section of organisations in all areas of sustainability.

 

The Green Apple Awards began in 1994 and have become established as the UK’s major recognition for environmental endeavour among companies, councils, communities and countries. 

 

The Green Organisation is an independent, international non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
